Todd Williams

One of the original participants of CW1 and very pleased to be asked back each year. The education that we have from these camps is invaluable. I live about 20 km (12 mi) from the forestry where we set up and do some shooting. Currently dusting off and adding to my reloading equipment and enjoying crafting ammo.

For protection here in the great white north I have a 12ga Mossberg 590a  and a 20ga Mossberg 500. Carbine is a Ruger Mini 14. Due to its innocuous look it is not listed as restricted in our Canadian gun legislation. No handguns as of yet but that will be changing in the near future.

The rules here are:
non-restricted weapons (anything that looks like it would be used on a duck or deer) we can shoot anyplace that we have permission and it is safe to do so.
restricted weapons (all handguns and some specific other weapons like any AR-15 platform long guns) We must get a permit to travel to a range and we are only to discharge them at a recognized range.
Not all that handy but we can make it work.
